It’s one solid piece of machinery. Does exactly as it says it will do.
I am astonished by this product. The DF54. The precision of its manufacturing for the price that is asked is a mismatch. This device should cost $500, but I paid $230. The flat burr grinder runs relatively quiet and doesn’t wake up my kids in the morning. The grind is much more consistent than my previous grinder and produces smooth and exceptional espresso. Truly an amazing device that replaced my Fellow Opus.

Everything is amazing except my ionizer doesn’t seem to be working properly
I am a 2 year user of a Breville Barista Express. It took me about a year to realize I needed a better grinder than the one built into the Breville. Budget was a big part of my decision. When the Turin DF54 came out at the $229 price point I decided to give it a try. I love the stepless grinder adjustments. I am now pulling so much better espresso shots. I was a bit surprised at the mess the grinder made when the plasma generator failed due to blockage of old grounds. It made quite a big mess on my counter and ruined my dose of beans. Thus far i am very happy with the DF54 grinder just needing to be more proactive in cleaning the discharge shoot.
